 Role in a nutshell

CitySwift is growing! We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to partner with our sales team to provide technical assistance and proof of concepts to leads and potential customers during the sales process. We're looking for someone who shares our passion for our product and who will find ways to help our clients succeed. The role will include ongoing integration development and will extend from helping conceptualise and design new data solutions to implementing and delivering to clients.  You must have strong technical,  analytical and problem-solving skills to provide creative solutions for current and future customers based on their business requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise complex configurations and workflows 
  • Complete ownership of integrations with new and existing clients 
  • Maintain existing integrations 
  • Gather requirements from current and future clients for integrations and build solution proposals for potential customers.
  • Map integrations within international world marketsCreate flow charts (diagrams of technical workflows) and technical documentation
  • Assist the Business Development  team by answering technical questions via phone and email
  • Help complete lengthy RFP’s
  • Identify potential blockers by probing and asking questions, then building a solution
  • Some travel required


What you bring

  • Experience with Kotlin or Java
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data
  • Experience working with relational databases (Postgresql would be a plus!)
  • Experience with Cloud Platform Service GCP/AWS/Azure
  • Ability to use own initiative and solve difficult problems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers 


Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of bus scheduling systems 
  • Knowledge of Ticketing and AVL systems 
  • Public Transport Experience
